of course the y looks different its bigger. and big deal it doesnt have a thin piece of metal on it they call a heat shield. it does no good anyway

That is because you have a 2nd gen and the OP has a 1st gen.

Instead of the Nismo, I would look into the new Magnaflow. It appears that they took our advice and ditched the Y-pipe idea and kept it true duals into an Xover muffler with dual tips. It is probably the best pre-fabbed exhaust on the market.
