I have not seen this color in person person on a Frontier, but THINK I have on an Xterra. I've looked for pics, but they haven't helped. It's new for the Frontier and I'm considering it for a Pro, but have questions/concerns.

Is this a mica/pearl base? Is it much darker than the previous grays? With the matched bumpers on the Pro, I'm thinking it may be a very dark and monotone truck - especially with the leather interior. Even the roof rack would match. If you've seen it, what kind of image and feel does it have?

My other choice would be silver. I've seen it and tons of pics and with the contrast from various materials and accessories, think it looks pretty sharp.

No Night Armour is gray... like my truck... It is darker than the storm gray. No pearl and the metalic needs a good sun for it to come out. I get lots of compliments

Night Armor and Radiant Silver were the same two colors I was going back and forth on. My Wife really liked the Night Armor, and I also think it's a nice color. However, I ended up going with the Radiant Silver for two reasons.

1. As mentioned by the OP, the contrast or how well it goes with the black parts of the truck is nice.

2. The steel interior cloth looks too much like the Night Armor exterior. I may have swung in favor of the Night Armor if the interior had the beige option (not available, at least on the SE model). I realize that Radiant Silver also comes with the steel color interior, but it differs just enough to look alright IMO.

ok. so it's definitely not a bad color. the pictures and descriptions give me a much better idea. i also went through the galleries and found a few more. the cloth interior is almost an exact match and would be too much gray. hopefully the charcoal leather will be different enough to be ok.

the radiant silver is nice. it has the potential to be more interesting visually, but it's also much brighter. my initial choice was a grey partly because it's a more reserved, natural color. i spend a good amount of time in the woods and like the idea of it being less obvious.

so night armor it is. and as Idleone reminded me, if it's not quite right, change it or trade it. just don't dwell on it.

thanks. :)

Me and my truck the weekend after I got it.

I fell in love with the color and now with the front windows tinted it looks awesome in person and the color is not at all dull in my opinion

Yea it is a sick color. I'm so pissed it came out on the 2010's and not the 09's. I saw it a few months after I picked mine up...was soo pissed lol

I like the storm gray better but the night armor is a great looking color. I think they should offer both not removed storm gray.

Now the radiant silver is so boring. That color is why over used on frontiers.

it looks great in the beach pic! i'll have no problem with that. for you, the chrome accents work really well. i think part of the problem is that every time i see a picture, the color looks different because of the person's camera, lighting, or whatever. and also on a laptop which skews the color a bit too.

the perspective on the silver being overdone is something i hadn't thought about. i'll have to keep it in mind. :)

now i can start to worry about the likelihood of getting a lemon...lol.

Night Armor was my 2nd choice behind brick red. It's sharp, but I'd think it's harder to keep clean.

There are a lot of radiant silver frontiers.
Night Armor is nothing compared to black with regards to keeping clean...it's pretty low-maintenance...when I mow my lawn all the crap that gets kicked up and lands on my truck - from 5ft away, it looks fine. Try that with black!

radiant silver is so popular because it is low maintenance like white but doesn't need to be washed when it gets dirty. plus its good to scratch and ding up cause it hides a lot....good for the offroading guys. the night armor looks really nice though...id get it.

That's good to know. My wife has a galactic grey metallic 4Runner and it really shows the dust, water spots and scratches. I love the color when it's clean in the sun, but it's work keeping it that way. It was enough to steer me away from the dark grey Frontier.

To each his/her own... However, when it comes to something like picking a color for your car or truck you really shouldn't be concerned if a color is over used or popular. You should pick a color that you like.

This is my first Nissan, and I like their color selection with the Frontier. They keep it simple yet attractive. I think I could have gone with any color besides white and black and been satisfied. I ended up with Radiant Silver because it was my favorite and it never crossed my mind that I shouldn't get it because it might be too popular.

Each color is boring to somebody out there.
This is my first silver vehicle, the color wasn't really a choice since I bought used but my first choice was dark blue. I have absolutely no regrets, I can wash my truck once every 3 months and you don't notice how dirty it was until it's clean again.
Unless I play around in the mud of course

Night armor here! Taken with my Sony a100. Definitely looks great with a little more chrome. The nerf bars really make it sharp looking! Had to touch up a paint chip on the door edge due to the wind taking a door out of my hand and tagging the fence post. The touch up paint from Nissan took care of it pretty well, you would have to really look to find the spot. Recommend the color for sure!
