I've been a lurker for several months now and became a member today. In November I traded in my king cab which was a big mistake of a purchase and got a 6 spd Manuel drive frontier S crew cab. Too bad Manuel drive doesn't come in SV. I'm glad I got the S anyway because it was cheaper and I'm tricking it out with things that I like. Power is awesome compared to the kingcab and mpg are almost the same. I drove 1500 miles before punching it and must say I was impressed. I was already impressed the moment I cranked the engine at the dealership for the first time. I avg about 17 to 19mpg city/highway everyday. It all depends how hard I push the pedal. 21.8 is the best I got going on a 250 mile highway road trip going about 73mph. I don't see much diff between haulingA*** and driving slow. Besides, the mpg differences are probably about two to three gallons of gas savings per fill up depending how hard it's driven, which I could care less about. I attached a pic but can't figure out how to rotate it (perhaps someone can help). Anyhow, I wanted to say hello and I'm happy to be a member.
