Hello all,
My name is Adam and I am from MS. I am on my second frontier. The first one was a brand spanking new 2003 v6 4x4. I took a curve at about 85, totaled the truck and crushed my leg. Luckily I stil have my leg, and just had to get some pins and rods in it, but the truck was a total loss. I then had a chevy silverado crew but i got tired of paying the note so i sold it and made 2500 bucks off it. A couple of weeks later an older man that i knew was buying his son a new truck for graduation. I asked him what he was gonna do with the nissan and he sold it to me for 2800.(he was asking 4200 but he cut me a deal since my dad grew up with him) Its a 1999 kc 2wd with a little over 100,000 miles on it. He bought it when it had 30,000 on it and kept it well maintained. The only flaw is that someone backed into and put a little dent on the rear bed, nothing i cant live with. I wish it was 4wd but with a price like that, i couldnt pass it up. I have only had it about 6 months and the mods are slow due to a child and having a teachers salary. But so far I have painted the interior, traded the 60/40 split for xterra buckets, and built a armrest console. I am not really into loud speakers, i just want to beable to hear my music so i put a 6x9 in the console. My next project is gonna be a lift just big enough for some bigger tires. I figured to big of a lift would drain my power but i am tired of it being so low and riding on the stock bycycle tires. This website is awesome, I have been lurking on here for a while and have wanted to post thingsbut didnt read that i had to do this first, i know, DUMB. Anyway there are some awesome trucks, and great ideas that i have already used on here. and am looking forward to using it more now. keep up the good work guys

Like I said in the PM, welcome to the club! I think I remember reading somewhere that 2wd to 4wd conversions are not way too difficult or expensive. I am not positive about that because it has been a while since I have read it but it might be worth looking into. That is a great deal on the truck, regardless. Don't be scared to post up questions you have, everyone here will help you out and help you understand everything.
Welcome to the club man, glad to have you aboard!

Ah, between Prentiss and Mendenhall on Hwy13. I grew up in Columbia but live in Madison just North of Jackson. Wasn't Erick Dampier from New Hebron? Or somewhere close?
