Well so far so good. I really like the interior upgrades they made to center stack. The AC/ heat works a lot nicer. Only thing that kinda sucks is the factory XM antenna definitely loses signal more than my Sirius SIGMA.

My guess is he will much more appreciate what the LE offers day to day (street driving) over what the Nismo/Pro-4X could offer in terms of the limited off-roading that was done.

The main reason was the chrome bumpers not being available on the Pro4x. Back in 2007 if you remember the LE was the one with the painted bumpers. I don't take my trucks off road to much so losing the diff locker wasn't a big deal. I really liked the Pro4x's interior and white faced gauges but the winters where I live they use cinders on the highways and that would just destroy that color match bumper after one year.
