As others have said depends on what your going to use it for, if you have ranch or farm probably Rhino.

My neighbor has 09 RZR it goes every where I can go on my 05 700efi sportsman.

Although I can get up on my seat for deep water crossings & swamp riding we have here in SC, He gets a wet arse!!

I have been think RZR my self, because my wife is having neck and back problems and ready to be passenger rather than ride her 400 sportsman.

I think I would go for RZR S if I get one.

Rzr for sure. Wayne National is where I ride my atv/dirt bike and the maximum inch width allowed is 50, and the Rzr barely clears that. So the Rzr can go more places, it is more compact, has more options, looks cooler, etc.

I do really like both. I love Yamaha, and have a Kodiak right now which I will be keeping.

I do go fishing and will probably hunt as well so the extra room the Rhino has might come in handy. BUT I do love to cruise and I love speed, so I'm still torn. Most of the time I will be trail riding and both will be able to fit on these trails, some situtions the RzR would probably be better.

The RZR S is 17k Canadian, and the base is 14k. The Rhino's are around 15k Canadian. Our doller is getting better, I wonder if they will go down or if I can get one in the states?

I'll let you know which I decide...it's going to be tough to call!

Yamaha won't see a repair shop. I have 2 Yamaha's and they rock!

Popo's are mechanical nightmares.

I have a 700 Rhino, and the primary reason we got a Rhino over the RZR is that I'm 6'4" tall and don't fit in the RZR. With a helmet on, my head hits the top of the roll cage and my knees touch the front dash. I don't think there is anywhere or anything that a stock RZR can go/do that a stock Rhino can't. Since you live in SC, I'm assuming your trails are kind of like the ones over here that are some what slower paced and rocky than flat and straight. The RZR may be faster with lower center of gravity but, I don't see you having a ton of places were that is going to be a huge advantage. I have had the Rhino topped out at 45 mph (on flat ground) so I don't think you can really complain about it's lack of speed.

Short version: Get the RZR if you want something purely for play and get the Rhino if you want something that will do it all.

Well I'll be buying in New Brunswick Canada. I really like the RzR S but it's a lot of money!!!! The Rhino may be better suited for me, it does go slower but it's not supposed to be too fast, it's not made for a ton of speed without modifications.

I would like to see if I can take both of them for a spin and then decide but I'm not sure if I'll be able to.

Yeah I think the TYREX would probably be better then the Rhino but I think the Kawi dealer closed down in the area, I will have to find out, it has more power that's for sure and is more like a Rhino then a RzR. HMMMMM

I love Polaris sleds but stay way from their side by sides. I have one at work and man dose it have issues the whole fit and finish is poor. Biggest issue is the floor has cracked more then once in it, the parking brake never fully releases and drags on the rotor, it also loves to just stop running for no reason, (dealer has looked at it and has done it at the shop and they can't tell us why) I say get a rhino

You know after checking everything out I'm leaning towards the Teryx. It has way more power then the Rhino, seems more sporty but has the cargo room as well. The RzR is cool but it's very basic I find and it does seem sort of cheap compared to the others.

I'm not going to be easy on this thing so I need something reliable.

Rzr!!

Had a rhino and sold it to get a RZR. The rhino is slow as piss and top heavy. My RZR stock will run 65 and is so quick in a turn......way more fun...........who really buys these things for work??? Its all about the play!!!!!!!!!!! So Buy a RZR and go tear up the yard.

My friend has a monster edition 450 dirt bike. Last year he burned a hole through the piston which the mechanic later said should have blown up the engine. That is how reliable the Kawasaki engine is. My other friend races a outlaw and it holds up really well as well. I'm not much of a fan of the yamaha engines I have seen. If that can help on the reliabilty of the brands.
