Hello all,

Just bought my first truck. 2016 4x4 SV. Got it primarily to tow my little fishing rig, and it works like a charm. Never owned a Nissan before, but I am loving it so far. Looking forward to scouring the forums for ideas and suggestions.

Congrats on the truck. I have a 2013 that had those same tires so now that they are gone I will recommend, switch to something else. I never realized how terrible those things were until they were gone. The upside is I got about 85,000 miles on them but they are very noisy and offer poor traction in the rain. I'm currently running Falken Wildpeak AT/3 in a 285/75R16 with a two inch lift but you can find them in your size and they are so much quieter. I was shocked and stunned after getting them on because I expected the noise to increase. Now when I drive to Houston or Austin the only road noise I really have is from either wind or poor highway surface. One other aspect is that even though my current set is larger and wider, the steering is somewhat lighter now. I am probably going to roll back down to a 265/75R16 and put the 285's on my project K5, but that is mostly just to get back to some more respectable mileage (got some cross country hauling to do and 21 mpg vs 17 mpg is enough to do a second take on the matter, because I did take a bit of a nose dive moving up to the 285's, lol.

If you get to a point where you consider doing any lift or anything let me know. I live in North Dallas over in the Carrollton area and did the lift myself over a weekend so I can help you out in some fashion of you need it.

Thanks man. I will definitely be hitting for you up for info when I am ready to start doing some mods. The tires aren't annoying me too much as of now, but I can definitely see the need for an upgrade in the future.
