I have an '05 4.0 V6 which I bought last October, I do scenic fabrication and live in LA.
My last truck was a 4cyl '98 Frontier and it served me well.
I come to Club Frontier seeking wisdom. Apparently my timing chain tensioner needs to be replaced; yes I have that whining noise from the engine. Just over 70k now but not sure if I really need to fix it. The noise is not that bad, I am concerned about safety.
