I have a 2005 CC NISMO Frontier and was searching for a suspension lift. Besides the spacer kits, there was only one found which included front coils, rear shocks and shackles. I was wondering if anyone has installed this kit and if you were happy with it? Is this better than the spacer kit? I've proviede the link below and any info and pictures of someone's Fronty with it on would be nice.

Thank you Frontin for the link and the pic. That Frontier looks awesome with the 5" lift. It's more than I was planning to lift my truck, but now I saw a pic might consider more. I'll contact Calmini to find out when they're planning to release the kit, and if it will only be available for 5"s.

Out of curiousity, what type of problems does 4x4parts.com have with their parts?

Thanks again,

well let me rephrase this. i wouldnt put any suspension stuff from 4x4parts. all they carry is rancho and ive never been a big rancho fan. and i cant say i know anyone that has been truley happy with rancho after they went to something else. of course when you first put it on its oh yeah this lift kit is sweet! but then stuff starts breaking, and problems start happening. also the only kits i see on 4x4 parts for the 05 frontier only give you about 1" of lift. that isnt worth the 400$ to me. u wont hardley notice it.

id rather go this way. spend 290 bucks, and get 3" of lift.

PA is a good quality brand, and they make excelent body lifts. and 4x4parts always seems to be the cheapest.

i would defenitly be in on the calmini lift group buy if they ever had one. I have a question, I really dont know much about 4 wheeling at all. I always did car but if you put a calmini lift on would you be able, or would it be worth it to put a long travel upper control arm on? SOrry if its a dumb question to you guys who know this question.

I was just wondering if anyone had a guess or knows the tire size on that truck in the pic above.

And I really want those rims...i think they are the same ones in this link
http://www.americanracing.com/appgu...Comments=&softid=&sort=0&brand=americanracing

Also if I want 32-33 inch tires..what would be the specs of the tire (ex. 265/70/16)..but what would it be for 17inch rims with 32-33 inch tires

sorry im not to bright when it comes to automobiles

thanks

Just wanted to chime in that you can also purchase the AC lift with shackles or AAL's from 4x4parts.com with longer 5100 Bilstein shocks in the rear. Jane is also great over there and I would highly recommend them as a vendor without hesitation. She worked with me on a great group buy experience for the Shrockworks rock sliders.

That is ridiculous...

I am looking into a lift and all I am looking to get better a-arms from someone but $599 for the set is ridiculous. I cant believe that. I can see $299 maybe for something that will now take them no time to make for less then a $75. Whatever. I will spend the money on a 5" lift before I spend it on the a-arms. But even then the 5" lifts from 4x4parts and calmini are ridiculous also. I know there arent a lot out there but you would think that they would be reasonable with prices and the best right now are the coil over from 4x4parts which are a good product. Just stay away from any coil spacers all together because it is highly not recommended for off roading at all. Very dangerous. Later.

I have an 07 Pathy with the 5" Calmini lift, and I have yet to have any problems. I also have a 3" 4x4parts.com or "Automotive Customizers" body lift for my Pathy, and it was just as they had advertised. It's good on my suspension, hasn't cost me anything in steering upgrades, and it has served me well. So far, I have encountered no problems with 4x4parts.com. That said, do any of y'all have a better 4x4-Nissan site that I can order parts from? (i.e. coilovers, springs, drive-train components, etc.)?

So you're saying the PRG coilovers are better than the AC coilovers? For Christmas, I'm hopefully gonna get those heavy-valved, front coilovers from "AutoCustom" and an ARB winch mount bull bar; but you're recommending the "Radflo Frontier Fabtech/Calmini Lifted Coilovers"? To be honest, I don't know for sure exaaaactly how much front-lift I'll need to level the Pathy out after the ARB-bar install, but I imagine it'll have to be in the 2''-range.
