Hi,
My name's Dave, I live in central PA and I just bought a new 2018 Pro 4X. This is my second Frontier, but the first was a 4 cyl 1998 King Cab. The V6 crew cab is much roomier and has a ton more power. I'm looking for ideas to customize this truck. I've already covered step rails, brush guard, neoprene seat covers and retractable bed cover. I'm hoping to add gas struts for the hood, upgrade interior lights to LED, add side LED lights along the step rails and a light strip under the tailgate. Other than that, some off-road lights for the brush guard would be a nice addition, and I'm considering a performance chip. Does anybody have any experience with these chips, and how much they help?

I wanted to get CoverKing seat covers, but they don't have a pattern for the new 2018 seats (I didn't realize they had changed until I started trying to order them). I had to go with King of Seat Covers in L.A. as CoverKing said it would be months before they had anything custom fit.

So, any input would be greatly appreciated, including things I haven't mentioned. I'm hoping to get onto a trail now and then, but will be on pavement most of the time, so not sure I need to worry about suspension or lift kit mods.

Thanks in advance, and I'm glad to be here!

Welcome I live in york PA, love the idea of a light strip by the sidesteps!
I found some 48" strips on ebay with amber and white LEDs that can be wired separately. The amber can be wired to flash with the turn signals, and I was thinking I would wire the white to illuminate with the interior light when I unlock the truck to light up the step rails when I get in. I'm assuming they will fit, but haven't made any measurements yet. Will share my results if successful.

Would you put it on the pinch weld?
