So you guys today I picked up this custom rear bumper for $60! Yah thats right, 60 bucks! It is very well made with clean welds and a pretty simple design. I got it from this guy in fullerton who works for suzuki in the testing department. I guess his boss lets him take parts of show trucks that are gonna be crushed. So he has some stuff still off of frontiers and equators. He has some really nice sliders that match my bumper, lightbars, roofrack, tires/wheels, tail light guards, utilitrack, etc. Hes gonna give me some pics of the stuff so I can post it up here in case any of you so cal guys want to hit him up. He was really cool and hooked me up with this custom bumper he said came off a crew cab frontier with the matching sliders. I didnt want the sliders obviously, plus I have a king cab anyways.

So this bumper is exactly like I wanted to get made one day and was only 60 bucks. The only bad things about it is that its painted a kind of matte gray and has a few scratches. I wish it would have been black, but its still pretty dark it matches my truck pretty well still. Also, it bolts in where the hitch goes, so Ill be loosing that. Not a biggie since I dont tow anything really a lot, but I did score that oem receiver hitch for 50 bucks a while back hahaha. Oh well. Also it doesnt have recovery points like the calmini but i can just wrap a strap around it anyways.

Lastly, the thing worrying me the most is that It doesnt have a tab for the license plate light and Im pretty sure you need to have one of those in CA. Any suggestions. It has a tab for the license plate, just not the light.

Well Ill post more pics up once I get it installed to see how it looks. Not sure when that will be though. Any suggestions on removing the stock bumper.

Yah I realized it was from that one too a little while ago as I was searching. Im pretty sure its it. Im a little worried now though wondering how it will look because that green truck has like a roll pan or something behind the rear bumper. IDK?

unless you beef up the mounts i wouldnt pull from it otherwise its gonna bend
nice score for $60 though
Yah it only attaches like the receiver hitch does. But the tubing and construction of the bumper seems pretty heavy duty and pretty solid. I couldnt imagine it bending under pressure of pulling out my little 4 banger. Maybe though?

Hook me up with those sliders!!
I just posted up some of his stuff in the classfields and he said he would ship anywhere in the U.S., but Im not sure if he would ship those sliders. Plus he said he already had interest in the sliders.

If the sliders are off the same truck then it would only fit a crew cab long bed.

That's cool. I remember that green truck as well, and always admired that bumper. Doesn't look very rugged though. That truck definitely has a roll pan - I think stillen makes one like that.

Alright guys here it is installed. Didn't take me to long to put on and for now I just tucked one of the license plate bulbs between the plate and the tube and left it dangling there.

So I wasnt sure if I liked it at first, but it's kind of growing on me. You guys can let me know your honest opinions. Ill try to get a better pic later too. This was just a quick cell phone pic. Maybe it will match the truck better later once I have a tiregate and front tube bumper.

Thanks guys. yah ill get a better pic.

yah it was definitely made for having a roll pan as well cause it sticks out a little further. i like it though. ill try it out for a while. its a tube bumper so its not really supposed to cover up everything. for 60 bucks im happy and i can take it on and off pretty easily and quickly.
