I just bought a used 2008 Frontier King Cab 4x4. Love it so far. I just stumbled onto this forum and look forward to getting help from everyone.
My first few questions:
1. Outside driver rear mirror shakes. Just the mirror, not the whole assembly. I assume it's a loose or broken post for the mirror itself. I've seen some cheap aftermarket ones on eBay but I would like to know if there is any easy fix I might be able to try before replacing it?
2. Factory stereo is awful.I started reading a few good threads in this forum about after market options but I read on Crutchfield's site that the Metra dash kit with a cubby slot that comes with a single DIN does not always fit nicely. Can anyone comment on that or direct me to the best thread that might cover installation instructions? Also, one thread on this forum suggests that the speakers should be replaced. Is that necessary?
3. Cargo Bar. I want to get a cargo bar to keep things from sliding around in the bed. I was leaning toward the Heininger 4015 HitchMate Cargo Stabilizer Bar. Are there better options to consider?
