Good afternoon all,
Just signed the papers on a 2016 Frontier Pro 4x manual in black. I was between the Tacoma and Frontier but for some reason my gut told me Nissan. Could be the solid feel, proven system, or just a good dealership. Whatever the reason, I pick it up on Tuesday. Having the trailer hitch installed. No other accessories right now as I just got done adding to my UTV. But I will get there I'm sure.
I'm coming from a 2012 F250 diesel that will be missed but it went with the camper. So here's to life in a small but mighty Frontier.

Have a great weekend .

Congrats. You are going to love the manual. I had to drive a distance to get a manual Pro 4x in the color I wanted, but it was worth it. I would like the sunroof and the rack, but the 6 speed was more important to me.

I was also between the Tacoma and the Frontier, but having owned an Xterra in the past I jumped on the Fronty. The Tacoma was also too expensive for the TRD Off Road package. The Fronty is an awesome value and proven rig in comparison the new Tacomas.

Welcome to the 6spd mafia, I love my 10 1/2yr old Nismo 4X4 136,600 miles and counting on the original clutch, and towing a 5000lbs RV the last two years.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm looking forward to having a manual again; it's been about 6 years. I'm hoping that brings the fun factor back to daily driving. I will be towing my UTV on an aluminum trailer so no more than 3,000 lbs. I'm assuming the clutch can handle this easily. Looking forward to learning from all of you. Now I just need to get the thing. I've never wanted a weekend to go by quickly until now.

Cool! The reverse gear in the 6-sp manual is a bit tall for controlled uphill trailer maneuvering...since you are 4x4 you can simply put it in 4-lo for extra control when desired.
Enjoy your new toy!

I'm at 2500 miles now and I just got to using the A/C this week. Wow, it really robs the power and makes smooth shifts somewhat difficult. Maybe I just need to get used to it. It just feels like this truck is choked off a little. Like it needs air or it needs the exhaust system opened up. It has plenty of power once moving though. In any case, I love this thing.
