Hey everyone, I dont have a Frontier myself but a friend of mine does and he has called upon me to install an intake as I'm one of the more vehicle intrested people he knows. My main reason for joining is to see if anyone has installed a Kool Vue intake kit onto a 2000 Frontier?
I tried to do this last night and got the stock intake off easily but ran wall when it came to mounting the filter shield (the piece of metal that seperates the filter from the engine compartment) and got it to mount up in one spot but the second mounting point wasnt not their and when I had it set in place and the filter attached to the aluminum pipe that attaches to the wall it wouldnt fit anyways.
So if anyone has an info on what to do it will be very appreciated.
As for what I personally drive, I drive a 2001 Mercury Cougar.
