Hello guys. 4give me if this question has been asked thousands of times before. I wouldn’t ask if I knew. Didn’t bother looking either. But I own a 2013 frontier sv king cab. I wanna buy rough country 2-3” suspension lift or leveling kit. I’m curious if I’d need newer rims and wheels if I did this.

Welcome, no you do not need new wheels with the rc 2.5 lift. If you go with the 6” then yes or wheel spacers to push the wheel past the knuckle.

Welcome to the forum! That's a good lookin truck.. if you do go with a lift then 265/75/16s would look great on it, on those wheels. They're Pro4x stock size tire and would also correct the speedometer also, not that it's off much but they set em up for that size tire anyways.

Exactly.. it's plenty of room if you don't plan on having more than two people..Total!
I use to think the CC had plenty of room until I had to ride in the back seat for a short while.. nope! But safe and plenty large enough for children on trips.

So u didn’t need new rims on ur lift??
Need? Of course not... what gave you the idea that in order to lift a truck you need new wheels?

You can lift a stock truck. It might look funny, but you can.

No issue if lifting 3 inches. I mean, yes you’re center of gravity changes, it’s hardly noticeable.

I'm about to throw the Rancho quick lift on mine...I think Rough Country has the most similar competing kit.
No new rims or tires necessary, but I am throwing camber bolts on to get everything dialed in.
Share pics when you get the lift installed!

Same with you, I don’t know why, but I’m fascinated by these economical coilover lifts.

Definitely. I'm not expecting the best, but I'm about to drive them across country so it should give me a solid opinion!

There's nothing wrong with the lower-priced stuff. It is what it is, but you shouldn't just focus on the absolute price. Sometimes it's a better value to spend a few extra bucks for something that you'll really be happy with in the long run.
