just bought a used 2009 pro 4x and dying to start work on it. first thing i need to do is to replace the timing chains, tensioners, water pump. I do have the haynes book as a guide, but looks pretty daunting for a DIY project. I noticed that you have to go so far as to remove the upper oil pan. the book says i have to remove the front differential and axle housing and oil cooler for example. is this really necessary? Looking for some thoughts from those who have performed this project. I have parts on order to arrive next week. thanx!
