hello.. well i have a 2003 Nissan Frontier 4X4 KC SE and yesterday i went to autozone to put some freon on my truck because it needed some since like 2 months ago. After putting 2 cans of freon and a leak sealer it was blowing cold air until today it wasnt cold and i would hear a buzzing/hissing noise getting louder everytime i would accelerate. The noise would stop when i would accelerate hard. It also doesnt do the noise when ac is off. Can someone plzz help me out.

Welcome to the club. You may find that there is a vast amount of info on this forum. I would highly suggest that you spend a little time and "search" about whatever issues you may be experiencing with your truck. You will be amazed on how many other people report issues and fixes for problems when a vehicle gets to being 7ish years old.

Also, just adding freon without checking the pressures is stupid. You need to get a set of gauges and read the low and high with the compressor on and off. The high pitch noise is probably your compressor so you may want to test hot-wiring it and seeing if it makes the noise then.

sry for not mentioning it but the compressor clutch does engage. And i did check the pressure when i put the freon and it was filled.
Did you check both the high and low pressure or just the low? Did you check the clutch while the gauges were on? The clutch may be engaging but the shaft may be screwed or the pump may be. You need the gauges to ensure there is flow. Also, running a compressor low on freon (I assume you actually have r134a but we can keep calling it freon if it makes you happy), it can cause seals to go and bearings to wear down.

Did you put any kind of lubricant into the system when you were charging it?

Tomorrrow ill check the presurre on both the low and high. Im 17 Years old so i dont really know much about this. Today it seemed like the Compressor was making a buzzing noise everytime i would accelerate. Noise would get louder depending on speed of truck. I also heard like a hissing noise coming out trough vents. All of this was happening while i was driving. Didnt put oil in system yesterday just put in 2 cans of r134a and a leak sealer.
