Hi everyone,

I've been reading posts here for a couple years, now. My truck hasn't really needed anything up until now and I figured I'd reach out to my fellow Frontier owners for help.

I have a broken leaf spring on the driver side. From what I've been reading, it might be worth it to buy the OME CS150R Dakar leaf springs as a replacement and get a little bit of lift. I understand I would want to get some shocks as well (Bilstein 5125s?).

A couple questions.

1. My leaf spring is really broken. How safe is it to drive on while I wait for the new ones? I've included a pic of what they look like below. (not my truck but part of the leaf spring is missing like the one in the picture)

2. Should I order the shackles with the leaf springs or just the bushings and U-bolts?

Thanks for the help!

I took it to a local Spring and Chassis shop and they replaced the broken leaf in an hour. It was $225. I am still planning on getting the new leaf packs, shocks and a set of coilovers for the front as soon as I have some extra money. Good luck!
