Hi all,

New member here. Six months ago I purchased a 99 Frontier XE 4cyl 2wd 5spd king cab in excellent condition given that it has 261k miles on it! I bought it to use as a second vehicle, and for hauling things around that wouldn't fit in my car. Recently I was in a wreck that left my car (2006 G35) unusable, so while I wait for insurance to sort that out, the truck is my main driver.

Now that I'm driving the truck, obviously I have to start spending money on it. The only things I've done thus far are a new windshield and I'm 1/4 of the way through a shock replacement (KYB Gas-a-Just).

I plan on re-covering the headliner using a post here as a guide, and I will be making a post about a fan speed/AC issue I've been experiencing, for which I can't find a specific fix on the forum.

I've found a lot of useful info on CF over the past 6mos, so thank you!

I've got a truck set up as yours except mine's a 1998 regular cab with 215K. We bought this with 100K on it for the kids to drive to their jobs and horse, and to learn stick shift, back in 2004.

2998-2004 4-cylinder 5-speed trucks are the hidden gems here....
