I've read many people have nothing but good things to say about the ko2. Seem to be very good tires. I'm trying to get the best tire for the least payment. This inflation has me pinching pennies. Lol.

correction: Americus is about $100 less per tire. tread depth 19/32 vs the KO2 15/32. KO2 warranty through TireRack 72 mos/50k miles and 24 mo road hazard coverage. I haven't purchased new tires in over 10 years so I hope the KO2s will do the job for my urban driving with occasional mountain trails thrown in.

p.s. I was happy that the installer didn't insist that I have the TPMS restored to operating state. The battery had expired and I don't have much need for their function as I perform PM regularly. The black tape on the instrument display is good enough for me
