Intro time (required here, I guess). Just purchased 2010 crew cab LE 4x4. Nightarmor. Traded in a Colorado Z71 that I had for 6 years. The difference is night and day! Much smoother and quieter. Not much to do to make it my own other that upgrade the HU (need BT, SAT, IPOD). I just ordered a Pioneer AVIC X710BT. Hello to all.

It was actually pretty good. I had a black reg cab that I added H3 leather power seats that made a big difference. 17" wheels from the 2wd sport model, exhaust, CPU retune, tonneau cover, etc and it was a good ride-but noisy (not much sound deadening and cheap plastics). My wife and I are doing more riding and adventure racing and wanted more room for the gear. I hit a deer a few weeks ago and while the truck was in the body shop I looked around (too much time on my hands...) and found the Frontier at the local dealer that had been in inventory for a few months. With a very nice trade (the Chevy was quite nice looking and well-kept!) and the rebate ($2k) I made a deal just at invoice (less the $2k)(couldn't expect too much less as they had Frontier long enough that their hold back was eaten up).

Have not had much time to get acquainted with the new truck, but so far the ride and smoothness stand out. As I break it in, we will see about the other stuff. I am a little disappointed in the lack of current technology (ie: audio and communication) in the LE (w/o RF), but a new HU is going to change that.

Thanks for the reply.
I've never known a colorado owner and only knew what I heard here. So overall you have a good experience.
I'm on my fourth Frontier and many others here are repeat buyers too. You also enjoy it mile after mile.

Welcome,

I'd be a happy camper if the sun came out soon. I'm waiting for the house to float away here in New Jersey.
