My stock headlights are old and foggy and I am considering painting the inside bezel black but I also am considering just forking over the $260 on aftermarket ones with less hassle and brand new lenses. I know the Halo style aftermarket headlights are poor quality/craftsmanship, but I found these on ebay. Are they still poor quality or are they OEM style. Worth the money??

I would also be converting to a 6000k HID lighting with this kit. Do you see any complication with this plan or any other parts I would have to purchase to make the conversion go through with ease. Is this a good kit?

I guess it depends on if you'd rather spend money or save money.

I'm about blackout my headlights. Was gonna do it this weekend, but other things have come into play that aren't going to let this happen.

Mine are a bit foggy as well...

Check this thread out.... http://www.clubfrontier.org/forums/f46/diy-guide-how-black-out-headlights-1st-gen-34218/index2.html

And, I found this on my search for a way to clear the fog... Headlight Restoration: Rubbing Compound: Car Headlight Restoration | eHow.com

Thanks for the link. I decided to try the DIY painting and I bought rubbing compound to buff out the foggyness. But if I fail, Ill be getting those. Do you have any experience with them? Good quality?
if you fail, i will be interested in buying your old set even if the paint is no good and they are fogged up. I need a 2nd set for HID retro i wanna do
