Greetings from Connecticut. Picked up my new Desert Gold 05 Frontier King Cab about 3 weeks ago. Just found this site. Very cool. Got the truck just in time for the first big snow. He works great. Handles good and you really feel safe.
Couple of small issues: 1. Had to have some touch-up on the paint on the roof. 2. Had to replace the bed liner piece over the tailgate (Warped). 3. Needed a new chrome piece around the console (Badly Scratched). 4. Have to replace the sliding brackets for the Bed Extender. (Rusting Washers). Stained the black brackets (On Order). So far the dealer has been great with fixing everything. 5. I've noticed a squeak in the dask and they haven't been able to find it yet. It's very annoying. Keep hope alive.....
Seems like alot of stuff but it's all very minor and mostly fixed.
The bottom line here is that this is my first truck and I think I made a very good choice. I test drove the Tacoma but I liked the Frontier more. I would recommend this truck to anyone. I have the LE with the upgraded stereo. Very nice indeed.
