New guy here, from Oregon

Hello everybody! I've been lurking here for about a year getting ideas and learning. I had a 2015 Pro-4X CC in bright blue, that I bought new; but was totalled in November 2016 when I was rear-ended. My insurance came through and I bought a new 2016 Pro-4X in Cayenne Red in December.

From 2003 to 2015 I drove a 2003 Ford Ranger FX4 Level II that I bought new and loved. Only 1 minor repair in 12+ years, extremely reliable vehicle and quite capable off road. The place to go for Ranger knowledge was therangerstation.com. After 12 years, I wanted something a little more comfortable and decided the Nissan offered the best package for the money. Mine is a crew cab, luxury package. I've been enjoying the heated leather seats this cold winter.

So far I have added the tow hitch receiver with factory wiring harness/relays, relocated the 7-pin plug to the bumper (idea came from this site), and installed a homelink transmitter in the overhead console in the blank area next to the bluetooth microphone (idea also came from this site).

I really like the site and especially the build threads and mods threads.
