I just inherited a 2000 Desert Runner (2 WD, V6, King? Cab) and I've got loads of questions. First of all, can anyone recommend a tuning/customizing shop in the San Francisco Bay area, preferably East Bay? Second, are there any of you, organized or otherwise, who get together and work on your rides - same geo? Last, did the Desert Runner come with running boards standard? (Mine clearly had them but now doesn't.)
Eventually I'll be looking at exhaust, intake, suspension, and brake upgrades and I'll need reliable experience-based advice and sources.
