Hello everyone, Love my truck have owned it since New in late 1999 and have about 127,000 miles on it. I have replaced one break cylinder, and have had only 2 other issues with it. The first major problem was a locked up distributor that caused the cam sprocket to disintegrate resulting in having to replace the cam and distributor.I did the work myself and it cost me a total of 450 with used parts. I also changed the timing belt, the thermostat, all the belts, plugs and wires since I had the entire thing apart anyway. I made and error in using a used distributor since just 3 weeks ago the truck started to stall and I was advised it was the fuel pump..no deal spent $250 on that installed it myself and still had a problem. Long story short it was the used distributor that was starting to fail where the bearings were disintegrating and caused shavings to get into the cam positioning sensor causing the hesitation. I went and put in a new cam and the truck is running good as new. I love the truck I live in PA and have taken it camping to Florida, North Carolina, Upstate New York and Rehoboth DE and Quebec, Montreal and Ottawa Canada All while pulling a trailer. great truck and will keep it till the under body rusts out. I hope another 5 years minimum. Its 10 years old now.:fantastic:
