Hi,

I don't have the truck yet, but I'm working on it with dealers.

I'm looking for LE 4WD Crew Cab.

Since I have few questions I figured, I'll register and ask :)

Hmm. Looks like I can not post to general section yet, so I'll post my questions here.

I'm in the middle of order process with my dealer. He told me (I'm not sure how much truth is in it) he's unable to locate a truck with configuration I'm looking for with a tow package. He's offering me to bring the truck I want without tow packes and he will install the hitch for me at his dealership.

My question is what are the components of the tow package? Just the hitch and wireing/pins connector or is it something more?

I'm supprised why is it so dufficoult to find a truck without a tow package. It is a truck, not a convertible.

My setup is 4WD LE Crew Cab with value package and tow package.

Using the Nissan website, when you build your own - there is no "tow package." Just the option to add the hitch and wiring as accessories (for $340). I don't think it's like outfitting a Ford Super Duty, where the tow package adds other things such as transmission coolers, etc.

You are just as well to buy your own hitch and install the wiring than to have it pre-configured on the truck.

Ehh, your're right. I guess I confused it with Tacoma's towing package.

The funny thing is I fought with the dealer about that "tow package" and they couldn't find a truck with it for me. Now I know why :)

You could think that they should know what they're selling ...I'll skip that option for now than. I just read that it's preety easy to install it by your own.

Thanks a lot.
