Hi Everyone,
I just bought a 2016 Frontier SV 4x4 last week. So far I am loving it. I did notice one thing which I'm keeping an eye on because I don't hear it all the time, but it's the sloshing water sound from the front passenger side in the engine compartment. I'm trying to pin point if it happens only after I've run the A/C.
Also, I bought this truck primarily so I could toss my bike and kayak in the bed and be off to the trails and lake without fiddling around with stupid roof racks and having to carry a small ladder with me. I would like to be able to carry my yak without putting the tail gate down (even though I have the SV Value Pkg that comes with the extender). Would it be safe just putting the cleats in the side rails and tying it and letting the top hang over a bit with a red flag? Has anyone done this? I hate the thought of riding with the tailgate down and having any rocks chip up the back of a brand new truck.
Thanks!
Julie
