Hey everyone, I just got my new 2005 Electric Blue Nismo-Offroad Frontier today. I am on here to check out what people are doing to their frontiers, where they meet up and off-road, etc. I'm not sure I want to off-road soon, it's very new and slick looking, but eventually the new aspect will wear and I'll want to get out and play in the mud and rocks.

I have an '05 LE KC avalanche white. So far I have painted the front bumper and the outside mirrors white to match the truck. I installed a Gentex mirror/compass combi-
nation. I wish I had seen the Gentex with the Homelink feature before I purchased mine and I would have gone that route.
I have a Foldacover bed cover on order that should be in this week or first part of next week. I also have a bug deflector and window vent shades on order. I removed the
Frontier and LE emblems off of the tailgate.
I am now thinking about putting an aftermarket exhaust on it, just trying to make up my
mind which system will sound the best without being too loud.
I am going over today to order the chrome door handles for it also.

Are the chrome handles avaliable for the crew cab (are they the same part number?)
Gerald, how did you get paint to match? I have the Canteen green and would love to paint the mirrors to match, and would even consider painting the door handles too.

Chrome door handles

I only ordered for the KC and the part numbers were 80606-EA05A and 80607-EA05A.
I did not look at the parts screen, but while in Springfield, MO this week I saw 3 Nismo's
on the lot and all 3 had chrome handles. Two were crew cabs and had the chrome on the rear door handles so I am sure that you can order them.
When my handles were ordered it showed off road, so it seems to me they are only available on the Nismo right now. The LE CC's had painted handles and the LE KC's
had black.
According to the brochure the LE KC should have chrome handles at some point too.
The handles look the same on the LE and the Nismo so no problem.
My handles are supposed to be in tomorrow or saturday.
I just had a paint shop take the factory paint code and paint the mirrors and the front
bumper to match. It matches better than the plastic piece from the factory that goes
between the grill and the front bumper.
After seeing the chrome mirror on the Nismo I am thinking about replacing my mirrors with the chrome ones as soon as the budget allows.
