Hey all, new (to me) owner of a 2016 Pro-4X as of 10 days ago! My first truck ever was a 2001 Frontier King Cab, manual everything, and I loved it. I moved to Brooklyn and had no vehicle for 10 years, which was great in its own way, then made the HUGE mistake of buying a BMW when I moved to the Atlanta Metro area.

After wasting too much money on repairing that thing, my girlfriend and I got the camping bug and I came across the truck I ended up buying. It looks like the previous owner took great care of it and threw a lot of extras on, which was the selling point for us since we want to throw a rooftop tent on it and get to exploring!

One of the things I thought was really cool was the Decked system in the bed. I feel like it's plug & play for all our camping gear and will make things a lot easier. The Cargoglide is more of a question mark for me, but I plan on keeping it to see if it fits our uses, but it'd be cool to have access to the top of the Decked system.

Anyways, enough rambling. I'm looking forward to seeing all the work people continue doing to their Frontiers and get stuck into doing some of my own after I get through all of the maintenance work that comes with a new vehicle.

It's a rich persons game buying the kraut cars, that old saying, "if you can afford to buy it you can afford to fix it"
Only one other vehicle now surpasses poor quality above a BMW, and that is a Tesla. Although the new Ford Maverick has just taken the top spot for recalls.

Been there done that (Mercedes built).
You in the right place now, welcome to the club house.

No kidding! I think one day I'd like to have an M series to drive for fun, but I'd struggle to have another one as a daily driver. My dad took my 2001 Frontier as a work truck when I moved and that thing just didn't stop running. I started looking at Frontiers again for that reason and feel really good about this purchase! Thanks for the warm welcome

Thank you! All the storage options made it really compelling, so we're looking forward putting it to the test. I'm already looking forward to 3D printing some custom components for the Decked system, which should be fun. The only downside of buying this truck is how much money I already want to spend on it

We're looking to pull the trigger on a rooftop tent in the next few weeks, possibly waiting for Black Friday, but I'll be sure to post plenty about where we make it off to. Noted on the pictures, I'll make sure to be thorough when posting! Haha

Thanks a bunch! It's got a stormtrooper look that I really like. I'm thinking about painting the grille or black or buying the Midnight one to give it some more contrast.

They are! I tried for so long to identify them with Google lens while I was waiting for the truck to ship down to me, but couldn't find them. Finally got an ID on them when I saw it in person.
