Just purchased a 2003 XE King cab with 4 cyl and 5 speed at 102,000 miles and located in Palm Coast, Florida.

Put new Hankook tires on and replaced lower ball joints and am enjoying the truck so far.

Just using it for normal driving around town, twice a year towing of a small pop-up trailer within a two hour drive and occasional yard work.

I would like to clear up the headlights lenses and enhance the exterior over the next few months.

Any suggestions and recommendations are appreciated.

In 15-20 minutes: OFF! bug spray and an old t-shirt did wonders for my cloudy '00 XE lenses.

One more question...this truck has manual locks and windows...are there recommended power conversions for these?

Windows are a lesser priority, but I would like to find a power lock conversion with a key fob.

Wish I could assist you here, but can't. My '00 had a power package when I bought it used. Search function?! 'Advanced Search' is your friend. Select NEW POSTS in overhead bar and look for 'Advanced Search' in red at top of header on left.

We have a dedicated 1st-Generation Frontier forum here full of helpful folks.

My suggestion on the headlights is to replace them. I tried the cleaning stuff but never really worked. Ended up getting new ones from Amazon... $68 for the pair and they come with ALL the bulbs.

Had a successful trip to our local U-Pick. Got a tail light to replace a broken one and these cool side step rails!
