I will be getting a Frontier in the next month or two and I want a crew cab from 2000 up to 2004. Is there a better year among those or are they mostly the same? Reliability, safety, and performance will also play into which year I get. How many miles can I plan to get out of an engine? Thanks for the replies.

The performance on the 2004 will be better. As for reliability nissan engines last a long long time, my cousin has a 2000 with 150k miles on it and its still running with no problems. As for safety, the newer the car the more safety features they have. Hope this helps you out.
