lights come on and everythiing works, it jus wont turn over.
well, i would check fuses to start with. sounds like starter motor is not working or getting power.

make sure wires to starter motor are still connected and haven,t rusted off.

if it turns over but does not start, then you can start looking for spark issues or a plug that has come off.

more info is always better to eliminate the simpliest things.

thanks for the info. i checked the distributor and it seems like the piece on the inside is not moving. ( have no idea whats it called) could that be whats causing it not to start not producing spark, if so not that much to replace.

the distributor rotor? ya, if it was over worn or something but idt it should move by hand if that is what you trying to do. you could try it its only a few bucks. it directs the charge to the intended plug for firing order. i would say, since its cheap anyways, just do a FULL tuneup and see if it works. probably needs it anyways.

Just to clarify, the engine turns over but it won't start? The rotor doesn't turn when the engine is turning over? Does the engine turns over faster and looser than normal? If the answer to all questions is yes, then you've got a broken timing belt.

If its not turning over, try getting under the truck and give your starter a few whacks. I have seen a few of the starters on these trucks just stick out of no where, including mine twice, and a few good taps with the lug wrench got me back on my way.

The only thing available for our trucks are the 3" suspension lifts from calmini, 4x4parts, rancho, SLR and fabtech. Bodylifts are available from 4x4parts as well or you can solid axle swap or do a long travel kit from total chaos if you want to go balls out.
