i cannot figure out this for the life of me...
so i have the truck jacked up and the upper control arm jacked up slightly and I still cannot separate the uca from the spindle....


am i doing something wrong???

you gotta lift it up and then lower it using the jack all the while smashing it with a big a$$ hammer

I just did my leveling kit install today also. Are you smasking it from the front towards the back?

Just keep beating on it from different angles right on the cup on the spindle. I did mine yesterday and both sides took 10 or 15 minutes worth of hard hammering. I also ended up jacking up the LCA so high that it came completely off the stands so that the stud was as vertical as possible. That seemed to help quite a bit because they both came loose quickly after I did that. Might not hurt to spray a little PB Blaster on there too if you haven't already.

let the truck down, stuff a piece of wood between the uca and coil bucket, jack it back up. The block will tension the ball joint. Get a BFH and hit the spindle beside the bolt,








no harder than that.

Oh yeah leave the nut on like you have it so snit doesn't go flying.
