I have an 05 with the 6 speaker system (non R/F with in dash tweets). I have some Audiobahn speakers I want to install but don't have a multimeter to test out the stock speaker wires. So far I have taken out the dash tweets and the rears.
Here's what I found:
Right Tweet >White +?/Blue -?
Left Tweet >Green +?/Blue -?
Right Rear 6.5 >Orange+?/Blue -?
Left Rear 6.5 >Orange +?/Blue -?
Right Front 6x9 >UNKNOWN
Left Front 6x9 >UNKNOWN
I figured out the tweets positives are probably the white and green since they go to a little capaciter and the blue should be common since it seems to be the recurring color...
Could someone who knows for sure please fill in the blanks or post a link to a chart that show all the correct wire colors and polarities. I know I sound like a rookie, but I have done quite a few clean installs in the past, I just usually replace the head unit and add new wires. I am keeping the stock HU for now until I decide on the route I will be taking...Thanks in advance
