Ok I need some help and need to make my decision farily quick!

The question that I have is that I currently have on the AC suspension lift (thicker coil spring, with a shackle on back) Well Greg from titanspecialist.com just realesed his kit with the new uca and a spacer and a longer back shock. I talked to Greg to see if the 2 kits can work in conjunction with eachother and he said yes it will so I ordered. Well I had to get a return authorazation on a body lift from AC and they asked why so I told them what I was going to do and they immediately told me not to do it saying that I am going to have cv issues and my tierod ends and my truck will not align etc etc. I talked to Greg twice and he assured me that I will not have any problems with these 2 kits. But honestly I am not very knowledable when it comes to trucks so I don't know what I should do.

So in your opinion do you forsee any problems with running 2 kits like this.

Well, PRG is a member of the Titan Forum here and also owns an Xterra, he's been around a while, has been around Nissans for a while, and will probably still be around a while from now!

The company you getting the RMA number from is losing a sale, I have no idea what prior experience you've had with him or the company, what experience he, or the company has with Nissan Products, or if the guy your dealing with will be around next week!

Make your decision any easier?

As far as what a combo of the two kits will actually do, I have no experience and no clue, but I think I'd trust an expert!

I also have the AC lift. I don't know about the tie rods, but with the extra droop the new uca's will allow you MIGHT have problems with your cv's. I haven't looked too much into it but you probably will have to extend or a least relocate your brake lines too if you are going higher than 3" or so. I'm just specualting though, you really won't know for sure until you try it.

On the other hand Greg seems like a pretty reputable guy, I'm sure he has researched it extensively. So go for it.

Okay, so it's a well known company! But still, from what I've read, I think Greg (PRG) is going to take care of his customers with a bit more of a personal touch. Not that 4X4Parts.com won't, but sometimes you're just a number to a larger company.

I'm not a big advocate of modifying the geomotry of the suspension that much just because of the unknowns associated with it. I doubt I'd ever do much more than the PRG suspension lift, but my truck is my daily commuter, and not a rock crawler, so I have to consider keeping the road handling charateristics as close to stock as possible. I'm sure it can be done, but approach it with caution!
