I'm looking at the possibility of replacing the American D40 driver's lower dash panel (the one at the driver's knees) with a European part.

This is the European part:
Bumper Automotive exterior Rectangle Auto part Wood

It has one extra switch position at the driver's left hand.

Bumper Automotive exterior Gas Flooring Asphalt

I think that 68106-EB300 is this beige one. Might be the same color as "Desert", but not sure.

60106-EB301 appears to be some kind of black or charcoal color.

So far I do not find a seller that will send me 68106-EB300 to the US, but I haven't really tried yet, just identifying part numbers for a European left-hand-drive part in beige was a struggle. This is actually a Pathfinder part. I found a French brochure for the Pathfinder that had a light color interior, all the other brochures I could find only had dark gray or black. It's attached.

Judging from the photos, I'd be surprised if it didn't just bolt right into a D40 LHD Frontier with zero issues. Everything looks like it will match up.

That's what I'm hoping. I'm going to occasionally check for them. I had started looking at German auto wreckers (I'd found a translation for the term) but I don't know. The European continental yards' websites are all in their respective countries' native languages only, so possibly this could complicate finding the part.

I saw a Brazilian "D40 Frontier Attack" and noticed that extra switch spot in that panel, seems like those trucks have either the instrument cluster dimmer switch mounted in that spot or the fuel door release button.

Good to know, I'd forgotten about the Latin American market.

I kinda like that steering wheel. It's got a more interesting shape than what our basic geometric shapes have.
