Purchased a 2016 silver Pro 4x CC non lux package. the first week in December. I have been wanting to get back to "mid size" pickup fir a while. After looking at the various options available, the Frontier won out. I like that fact that it is a bit smaller than the Toyota or GMC twins. The price was very good compared to the others. Did not like the seating position and low ground clearance the GMC products had. While I liked my 06 Tacoma, I cannot say the same for the new design. imo, Toyota does not have a good engine / transmission combination. Besides the truck is as large as the Colorado/Canyon and priced way to high.

Took a quick trip with the Pro up to Payson, AZ. For new, I was surprised it got 18mpg going up and just over 21 going back down to the valley.

Hope to get many years of enjoyment out of the Frontier. Next on the list are good seat covers and a dash mat.

Nice looking truck, I wanted a manual and silver or grey...I found a manual with white SV so that's what I ended up with and its rapidly growing on me...

White was my first choice, but couldn't find one in the area. There are very few 2016 Pro 4x left in AZ. Silver was my second choice. Had a 06 Tacoma which was sliver. Hid the dust/dirt pretty well. My 09 Ram was white.

I got the automatic. I had manuals for years and liked the control. Autos are great for city driving.

...after spending 20 months at TOW driving manual turbo diesel Hilux's on ice roads I wasn't getting an auto truck for driving in bad weather heading out to my next assignment in ND...

Rowing your own in the USA seems to becoming a lost art ::grin::

Just added the sliding bed extender. The dealer had to order it. It was part of the deal for the truck.

The more I drive it, the more I like it. Really like the info this site offers.
