I had no idea this forum even existed until yesterday when I did a search for "2006 Nissan Frontier engine whine" and I was sent to this website. I have been literally reading posts in the DIY section for hours straight. I imagine I have the timing chain issue that's stickied in the forums. Fortunately, I've got under 45k miles on it and it should all be covered.
Thanks for all the great information! I'm not sure I'll have anything usefull to add, but I'll try.
