Trim: SV CC LWB
Color: Forged Copper
Mods:

Interior: PowerBass 2ohm speakers in all 4 doors with stock deck. Sound Ordinance 125w powered sub under rear seat. Front doors tinted at 20%. Rear window tinted with 20% over factory privacy glass.

Exterior: AVS in channel vent visors, AVS bugsheild 2, removed air dam, installed factory fogs. Relocated trailer plug to bumper.

Drivetrain: Flush cut air box inlet. Diff breather mod

Suspension & Tires: BFG All Terrains 265/75/16 on stock wheels. Bilstein 5100s all 4 corners. Nisstec adjustable shackles and 1" top mount spacer. Total lift 2" front, 1.5" rear.

Armor: none yet

Performance: none yet

Gear and Other: Access Lorado roll up tonneau. Draw Tite 2" square tube receiver. Tekonsha T1 trailer wiring.

In Progress: thinking drawer sys...

So I finally pulled the trigger and spent some money. It took a bit of thinking but I'm hopeful this will do just what I want. I want better stance but don't want to sacrifice ride too much. I don't off-road but don't want to limit my wheel travel with a large top mount or in coil spacer. So, here's what I'm doing:

Nisstec 1" top mount spacers
Nisstec adjustable rear shackles
Bilstein 5100's front and rear
BFG ATs 265-75-16 on stock wheels

My truck is a LWB SV. So my front springs are a bit squishy in turns. I'm figuring on getting 1" from the spacer, and another 1" from the adjustment of the struts. Hoping that'll preload my springs enough to improve the ride, not degrade the ride. As far as the rear I'll only go up 1.5" with the shackles. That'll keep a bit of rake, and not overwhelm the shocks. Also doing cam bolts up front.

Parts are order now. When I do the install I'll post some pics.

i had the same issue with rubbing when i put my new tires on. i cut the circled section out of the mudguard and it cleared just enough.

weird, i had 265/75 ko2s on my truck at stock height before my lift and rims and had no issues rubbing. Little melting should clear you up! I had mudflaps and air dam on at that time.
It could be that OP has Load Range E and you had the passenger version or Load Range C. The Load Range E are 10-ply equivalents, so they may not squish down as much, which may be just enough for it to rub.

These are the new DT tread compound as well. I'm not sure if that makes a difference in overall "squish"

This is interesting, i did not know this was a thing. You may be right. I just double checked and my ko2s are load range E, but i did not check to see if they have the snowflake. it sounds like the snowflake x3 rating was lost with the new compound... curious.

Yeah, the 3 peak rated version is still available but I wanted to try the new "chip resistant" compound. These are mud and snow rated though, just not severe snow rated. I'm assuming it's because they are very hard in below freezing temps.

Cant seem to find the snowflake on mine... but not sure it is normally printed on the sidewall. Mine were just purchased less than a year ago. Now I'm just curious! View attachment 316274
The "DT" is right there after the tire size

Iffin.. did you put wheel spacers on? Mine clears the mud flaps and barely rubs inner wells right inside of the mud flaps. Same tires but with aftermarket wheels and a +12 offset at stock height.

Really like that truck and color! I thought those wheels would look awesome with some KOs on them, good choice!

No spacers. I have my buddy working on 3/4" spacers at his machine shop. He's writing a cad program. Issue is I don't want 1.5" spacing and 3/4" opens a whole can of worms. That's an entirely different story though.

So, I just got off Customer Service chat with BFG. Turns out they provide a 50k mile or 5 year warranty on the DT version of these tires. Not as cool as the triple snowflake I suppose, but a free 50k mile warranty is pretty sweet. I bought mine through Discount so I verified that it does not matter which tire vendor you purchased the tires from, warranty is still applicable.

Kind of wish that my local @Discount Tire had given me a heads up on that when purchased. Glad I didn't buy their warranty on top of it :D No sweat off my back, though.

Everything has shipped, fingers crossed everything shows up and I can do the install this weekend. Shocks/struts coming from AZ, camber bolts from NJ, and spacers/shackles coming from CO. It's a nationwide affair for sure!

Yes, changing to 315/70/17
Load range C.
265/75/16 load range E have too stiff of a sidewall.
