Wuts up guys...i've had my truck for 2 weeks now and just love it. My first "truck" i've ever owned. I'm loving the supercharger. I've had a few turbo cars before, and just went from a turbo s40 to this sc'ed truck. I just drove home from a buddy's house. A thin layer of snow fell and 4H was screaming to be used. The truck (to me) pulls in 4wd. I've never driven awd and for a canadian winter this kicks ***.

Anyhow....one thing i'm not used to is the gas mileage, it's the same as my bootsed 240...hehe. I've been driving it like a granny the last few days and notice huge MPG dif. I hardly take it past 2500 rpm or 35 MPH unless i wanna have a couple mins of fun (all city driving).

My question is, since I'm a major penny pincher (but like to have fun)...If i were to do a 2.3 pulley, 2" magnaflo header back, and CAI what kind of MPG loss do you think i'll get on average if i stay driving like a granny and the occasional punch here and there?

I love the punch this thing has!

To be honest, you will probably lose a few but its hard to say since the S/C trucks have knock sensor issues (search if you want more info) and it all depends on how much you actually stay out of it.

Funny you mentioned knock sensor. I was wondering if the ecu has to be re-programed if you change a pulley on the SC? I also tend to use preimium on any vehicle that's not NA.

I have a few months to decide if i want to start modding the motor with the basic bolt on's mentioned above. I don't think at this point i'd dive into any type of motor build.

There's godda be a couple guys here with a few soft mods.....are you that hard on gas??
