After driving multiple frontiers for the past 10 yrs I am moving on to a larger truck, need more room for the kids and grandkids. I wanted to go with the Titan but they didn't offer a bench seat in a nicely equipped package, need to fit six passengers. I brought home New 2017 Ford F150 lariat with front leather heated/cooled bench seat, twin panel moon roof, sprayed bed liner, max tow package and a 3.5 ecoboost with 10 speed trans. The truck is awesome, so much more refined. I want to thank all that have help with questions and mods. Nissan makes quality vehicles, never had any issues. and they will be missed. Hope this Ford will treat me well.

Nice truck. I owned a couple of Ford diesels and they served me well.

Congratulations on the new truck, may it always be as dependable as your Frontiers were. I'm sure it's got a great ride.
Hope you can find a Ford forum as good as this one.

Thats not hard to do. lol.

Congrats on the truck. Im constantly wanting a bigger truck mostly for sheet goods (plywood and sheetrock) but i love the offroad capability of this truck.

Congrats on the new truck! My dad has owned 3 F150s over the years and my father in law bought a new one a couple of years ago. I have no doubt it will serve you well. I owned a '96 Explorer and '04 Explorer Sport Trac and they were good vehicles. I'd love to have a full size pickup for the extra interior and cargo space, but I can't stand driving them. I drove an extended cab silverado last year while truck shopping and it felt like I was driving a boat, too long and too wide. Besides, I can't fit a full size pickup in my garage so that works out. I'm a mid-size type of guy.

Anyways, enjoy your new truck!

I was in your shoes also but the SV Titan XD fully loaded with a bench seat is pretty nice. Did you take that into consideration?

You will still be on this forum right? Or are you going to leave us? :crying:

Sounds like a well-suited truck for your needs. I don't need more room yet - but as my boys grow, we may be needing to get some more cab space as well. I like ghe idea of heated and cooled front seats.

Those new Fords are nice trucks. I went the other way and traded my Silverado for my new Frontier. I didn't have to have a full size and wanted the crew cab for when we have a couple of people going with us. Mileage wise I'm actually seeing better mpg than my Silverado had. I averaged 18.1 mpg on the Chevy over 4 years. So far on my Frontier I'm averaging 19 mpg. Not bad for a truck in a mountainous area for me.

I was on the fence for some time, deciding to go full size do to not being able to fit in the garage. I like the titan pro4x just needed the front bench seat. The titan xd is to long and heavy. I've always enjoyed the frontier but just not enough room and wanted some upgraded option. Fords Sync 3, remote start, power fold mirrors, 12,000lb tow, 700w stereo, work well, there's even a phone app that allows me to start, locate and unlock/lock doors. Oh and did I say 3.5 eco is an awesome engine, drives great and has a lot better turning radius then the frontier. I'll still visit the forum, still waiting to see who can finish v8 upgrade and drive it daily.

NICE TRUCK, there is a Ford dealer like a mile from my house. been thinking of upgrading/upsizing myself. I have this thing where I like to park my vehicles in my garage, keeps them cooler in summer, dryer in winter, paint & wax jobs last longer too, also no one mess with them late at nite. A full size crew cab truck may not fit with my work bench on back wall. does anyone else here insist on parking there trucks indoors ?

Mother nature is too damn dangerous for something as precious as the Fronty, to me.
All these emojis describe what mother nature does to vehicles left in her arms: :machinegunner::sickly::whip::violent1::hothot:
