First pic is the trucks I possibly wanted! Of course I choose the Frontier and when I get there it’s $49k!
Needless to say I came home with an S for $10k cheaper. First day home…05/22/2022, this how she came.

First weekend - installed OEM trailer hitch and harness. Added tonneau cover off Amazon. Tight fit, no problems as of yet.

Came back from a 4600 mile journey, half of it towing 6100 pounds, and my decals came in. Immediately installed

Decided to do away with the only chrome (silver really) in the entire cab of the truck.

Scored some used rims on FB and plan to clean them up and paint them gunmetal gray. During recall repairs had the dealer install ADO RCKilla lift kit. I don’t see much of a difference but I definitely need the nerf bars now! And she’s towering my slammed Miata 😝.
(can maybe see the 4x4 decals I added a couple weeks ago too).
Already bought the new tires, getting everything mounted hopefully Monday!

I really like what you have done here. I am pondering what to do with my interior as well. The chrome shifter cover seems totally out of place on the S trims. My theme is red and black so I am going to entertain some wraps that support that theme. Your truck is coming along nicely. The S trim trucks are a great starting place for a build.

So the valance DEFINITELY has to come off! Rubs on a tight turn. Was going to come off anyways. And of course, shoulda went with a bigger lift…

Oh well, next splurge down the road - NEW rims, tires and 6” lift!

Took off the valance today. Added some upholstery clips to fill the holes. Now to find some red to match and paint the tow hooks.

The black clips actually look pretty sharp, I’d leave them.

Actually VViViD - next time I’m buying 3M. It’s very thick, and I’ve used the roll on many other things. So far it’s holding up. I just trust 3M and their colors are finally coming back in stock.

Looking good. Do you have a link by chance for the front valence clips you used?

Thanks!!
It was a mishmash kit off that forest place. It’s come in handy - for all my restorations especially. Well worth it for me. Can probably get them at the DIY section with Dorman parts at an auto supply place so you can just get the few that you need.

Thanks! It was almost an all day affair! But for $400 rather than full price, I’d gladly spend the day dissolving 2” of road grime and grease.
