Some time in Jan of 2010
it is 120 someodd miles across and we did it in 2 wheel drive last year.

We missed a few of the sights so we will try to find them this year.

You will need to camp out on the trail one night. It will be low impact camping(pack it in, you pack it out)
It will also be a dry camp, so bring your own water.

Every one will be expected to have:
first aid kit
shovel
jack capable of lifting your tires off the ground
full size spare
a way to air up your tires (you can share on this but I am not airing up 15 trucks)
your own food and water for at least 2 days
A tow strap rated at least 3 times your trucks wieght
there own fire wood (can be shared, but make arrangements)
clothes for changing weather
sleeping arrangements
At least a minimal tool kit
cooking and eating utensils

we can add to the list
we will be in a preserve, so you can only camp where there is an exsisting fire ring, we may need to break the group up if we do not find a large enough spot

Some other people should pick up the book
Back country adventures
Southern California

That way if it is to dusty we can spread out, also some people may want to mob the 9 mile woop section:)
or the 30 plus miles of sandy washes:)

yeah 4hrs gets me half way there:)
Just as long as my truck is in one piece I am 100% in for this. Although, looking at Nizmut's list, I will need to start picking up a few things:)

Where the fuk do I pick up a jack that can get my tires off the ground? I have been able to jack up the truck on solid surfaces going off the control arms, but in loose or soft dirt I wouldn't trust it.

60 inch hi-lift, with a rim/bumper adapter is probably your best bet

like what we used when maxvdubs truck was inoperable. A low pro race jack and some blocks of wood.

Dam, i wish i still lived in that part of the country. I grew up about a 1/2 hour drive south of Lake Havasu AZ but on the Cali side of the river. Across the river from Parker AZ. Grew up going to the Parker Score 400 if you guys are familiar that race, not sure if it still goes on or not. I moved to Las Vegas in 1996 then to Denver in 1999. Awesome 4wheelin out here in the Rocky Mountains, definitely not the same as desert wheelin. Its its own kind of slow fun.
