I'm just wondering if any of you have seen this commercial? The Frontier makes a cameo in it, backing down to the Raider. Which in itself is funny but they also make the fronty look like its so scared that it pees anti-freeze :lol: Then they go on about how the superior Raider (even more hilarious) has more towing power (which I believe it does because it is based on the Dakota and has the V8 ) and a whopping 230 HP.

This TV ad made me laugh out loud and I was just wondering if anyone else has seen it and laughed as much as I did?

Also, tried to find the commecial as a link but no luck.

Ha. Saw the commercial myself during Monday Night Football. It's an unbadged black SE Crew Cab that they pick on, basically exactly what I have in storm gray. Sonofa.

Got to target the leader I suppose...

Funny to see the BF Goodrich All Terrain T/As on compact truck. Even they couldn't make that Mitsubishi look serious...

I love commercials! Yeah, I got a good laugh out of it too. I guess Mitsu wanted to call the BIG DOGS out and not mess with the puppies. We all know what our trucks are capable of doing. Very entertaining commercial, i almost peed my pants from the humor!

Actually, if you guys look closly, you'll notice that, even though it "looks" like a frontier, it's not. Because otherwise, the frontier will be falsely advertised.

I wish Nissan would come out with a commercial with highlights from the CORR championships.

I noticed the v6 Raiders only had 5 lug wheels. Don't know about the v8s. Mitsubishi takin' shortcuts w/the suspension? Think I'll stick w/the sc for a while longer.

Thats not really a good judge of quality. If you look at the Dodge Ram 4X4 with a V8 you'll see that it is also a 5 lug. And that bad boy would tow a fronty to hell and back and never know it was back there. Same with the F-150 the older Chevy's.

I agree. But w/those 5 lug wheels I just didn't get the impression that it could make my Fronty pee.
I'm pretty much a Mitsubishi guy. I've got an old max sport sittin' in the garage that's got 270K on it. Worked it hard for 15 years before I was rearended by a local cop. Wife's drivin' a Montero sport.
I must be a little old fashioned. Used to be the lug count was an indication of the true duty rating.
I'm still keeping my eye on the Raider. Too bad you can't get the 6 speed w/a v8. The Fronty would be sittin' on the used car lot right now.

Ha, usually I love the Fronty, but those times when it's tryin' to clean out my pockets (about once a year) I have thoughts of a Mit again, but the blower usually changes my mind. Maybe I just need a new set of Bils.

Well I hope you're a Dodge guy too, because unless I'm mistaken I believe it's just a slightly less ugly Dakota with a Mitsu emblem. Which has less horsepower in its optional v8 than our standard v6. 8O

Have you seen the price on these things?? 8O WOW!! They start at almost $31K MSRP for anything close to my truck which is a 05 NISMO KC. Thats around $6k more than I paid for my truck. And its still a Dodge :roll: What a ripoff!!

Actually the Raider is the reason I got my Fronty. I test drove the Raider first, and didn't like it, but from the commercial I could tell it was a Nissan, so I went and did a comparison. A week later I brought my baby home.
According to the dealership where I got mine, they say that the Fronty isn't peeing because it's scared, they said it's just marking it's territory.
