Okay, will do. Thanks.
I read some older threads on here and some suggested replacing the ball joint. Any chance my ball joint could be worn out at only 19k?
Okay, will do. Thanks.First thought would be brake pad wear indicators but not at 19K. Could it just be pads dragging on the rotors? Jack up wheel and turn by hand and see if you can reproduce the sound.
That was actually my first guess too. The last few months I have been camping a lot and driving on dirt roads. I climbed underneath the truck but didn't see anything. I'm going to jack it up tomorrow and try spinning that wheel. When I'm done, I'll pull it off and see if there is any junk in there.Maybe a piece of gravel or a stick pressing on the sheet metal guard behind the rotor? Causing it to rub?
