Dude, I was flying back from Houston and had to land at San Antonio. Our airport was covered solid in snow, this was our wing after being on the ground for all of a min to get a hangar at International. Now my truck is at our home hangar, wish I could get it to go bump around in the snow.
BTW since when does it snow like this in Texas lol.

That’s some sight, being from NJ I don’t put snow and Texas In the same thought.
On a different topic, your opinion on the iPhone X, I’m thinking of buying one.

Seriously, I thought the only time Texas and snow were in the same phrase was “it doesn’t snow in Texas”. I’m from NY and this was coming down pretty damn fast, doesn’t help I was doing around 300mph. 80% of what little amount stuck is already melted.

I really like it, coming from a 7+ the size took a while to get used to but the screen is a bit bigger (taller) and the “tap” to activate the screen different but i really like it the No home button now that I am used to it

Contra very nice but please just keep it down there we don't need that up North these guys up here have a hard enough time just keeping their vehicle in their lane mix even 3 snowflakes and it becomes demolition derby

Now see I bought my frontier to "Drive" in the winter. Isn't that why we buy 4x4's?

It is but I live in TX now I came from NY Hotrod I have to go somewhere that can actually "Drive" in inclement weather and don't think 4x4 or AWD means that you can stop or steer as fast as you can go IDK why people here just seem to be indifferent 1. I don't know who taught em but they cant even drive here on nice sunny days sometimes lol. 2 And unless your talking about a car wash the vast majority don't maintain their cars and don't or won't replace things until it is too late like their tires until the steel belts are hanging out and blowing out on them. Here's one example Hotrod I stopped and showed some nice lady in a parking lot one day when she pulled in next to me I just heard the metal scraping you know you've heard it and I showed her the belt coming through the tire telling her that driving on that is dangerous she just replied " OK thank you I'll ask my son but think it must be alright I had the car in for service not even a month ago" just oblivious must be important to get that TV or whatever and don't even get me started on their brakes know you've heard that chalkboard to but lets just say if they don't have or cause an accident that AAA does a brisk business out here. I see it when I'm in a shop either getting my tires rotated an balanced or an alignment I ask tech since you got it on the lift you mind if I just check the brake linings and see if there's anything that needs attention they always say NP but when I go in to get my paperwork I hear them getting their estimate for brakes one time I heard upwards of $1700 and they just stand there and wonder why it costs so much because the sign says brake special $79 the guy says yes that is for pads but you've waited till you toasted everything and your brakes lock up I'm just LMAO inside I leave and just say thank you that is not me. Don't get me wrong I feel bad for some of them that I see they just aren't able to do any better but like I said in beginning the majority just bring it on themselves. I'm doing my LCA's right now because tech was able to get my wheels aligned but its just not perfect camber is within spec but not good enough for me bet you can guess which bolt I couldn't replace when I did my little lift lol

I love your reply sabretooth. I was just in yesterday getting new tires for my son's car and there was a gentlman in looking for tires. Shop owner was telling him his tires weren't safe to drive on (bald) and the guy was so nonchalant and says "I'll look at my funds and decide if I can get tires". Likely he'll wait until one blows out. Then he'll replace it with a used tire.

Oh yeah used tires are a big business here actually IDK how one could sell them but I even went to grab one a few weeks ago to put off putting on the new tires but they're getting upwards of $50 for something with only 3 or 4/32 left and sometimes on the bars or they have bulges in them(damaged or broken cords) I just said to hell with it and installed the new ones. I know if I seriously maim someone everyone the ins co an lawyer an police will be looking at them an everything else on our vehicles that could contribute to the one at fault.

About 25 hrs ago I was on my way to put new shoes on my taco. I was coming up to a lite and a mini van going the other way was stopped waiting to turn left across my lane. At the last second he decided to make his turn. The speed limit was 55 there and I was doing about 60. I hit him so hard, all the side Windows popped out of his van. He tried claiming it was my fault. Lucky for me there was an off duty police officer behind me. He stopped as he should have to be a witness. Ya, the other guy got ticketed and his van wouldn't restart and was towed. Probably not drivable anyway.
One of the first things the duty officer asked me was how the tread on my tires was. I believe since I was a young kid the officer was trying to find a reason to blame me also. Not the off duty officer, he was 100% on my side.
Also my tires were not down to the wear bars and were still legal.
