Ended up being my TPS
Manual trany RPMs jump when in gear low out of gear
Have an issue, that points to vacuum, but cannot pin it down. My truck runs at normal idle in neutral. As soon as I. go to engage a gear the rmps sky rocket. I have traced and retraced my steps any mods or repairs I did, and still cannot figure this thing out. I tested my TPS, and it is fine. Any suggestions??

your spinning less mass when your foot is on the clutch.

The TPS was throwing of the computer causing the rpms to race. So when I would put the tranny in gear the ecm would advance the timing and increase rpms
