Figured you guys would want to see this. I'm at 30K miles. I had a squeak for a while under certain acceleration/deceleration that I thought was my leaf springs.

This morning I had a vibration I could feel in the shift knob. :(

I know this is a warranty item, but I'm sure it isn't safe to drive.

Yup, like the others have said, its a U-joint and not the yoke. Nissan uses a "sealed" unit that is not greasable. It sucks but it is what they do. For the warranty work, they will just re-install a new oem part without a zerk fitting or they may even just replace the entire Dshaft. Just bring it in and see what they are going to do.

If you are out of warranty and don't want to deal with this crap again, spend the 13 bucks at napa or autozone or etc.... and buy a new U-joint with a zerk fitting for grease. This way when you do an oil change, you can also grease the zerk to keep the joint working in peak condition.
