My 2017 SV CC 4X4 doesn't get wonderful gas mileage but with a snow packed 1/3rd mile gravel uphill with a 90° turn in the steepest part driveway, I just love that truck!!! I will put up with 18 MPG for the three minutes it takes to get up the drive and into the garage. My Ford Ranger would have left me, my wife and all our groceries at the creek crossing until the snow melted, which may be in two weeks.

Your mileage will pick up once it warms up.

just got back from a crazy off road adventure with my stock 2017 SV 4x4, a Tundra and Wrangler JK were leading and thinking I wouldn't follow. boy did I ever, even did some obstacles they didn't :)

Unbelievable what this truck is capable of. I TRIED to get it stuck, some decent deep mud, soft sugar sand, rock climbs, nothing stopped it!

For some Florida people, it was Lazy Springs in Naples area, cost me 30 bucks but was well worth it. have some video from my drone in follow mode and go pro mounted on the hood.

Nice to know that you like your truck. Any mods you did on your rig so far?

I just hit the 5yr mark on mine last month. Still is the longest ownership of any vehicle for me with no plans to sell. Had 17mi of sheet ice on the way home from work Sun AM, Fronty took it like a pro. Sometimes I wish these trucks were bigger POSs so our forum could get as much action as the Wrangler Forum. Enjoy!!

I'm coming up on 6 years of ownership on mine. Also the longest I've owned a vehicle. My brother convinced me to try a Fronty after years of Toyotas. I'm glad he convinced me.

The original Ford Rangers were actually pretty good, but what they turned into was a bot embarrassing

At least "Ranger" originally was a trim and option package on the F100/F150, not its own distinct vehicle. You want to be really disappointed, look at what GM did to the Blazer.

In the 10th year of New England winters with my 07. Never a problem in deep snow. In March it will turn 11 with hopes of keeping until at least til it's 15. It's the last of the honest midsized work trucks. So far the rust has stayed away.

Ha! Your driveway sounds exactly like mine! If I can get out of my garage and faced down the hill, I can get the 35 miles to work.

This is my first truck (second winter with it). BUT - this is my first time without a snow plow in the family. So far, so good. Fingers crossed!
